I.    The Practice

I make things. That's the most honest way I know how to say it. Photography, graphic design, illustration, music, poetry. I don't experience those as separate disciplines. They're all just different ways of processing the same thing. Different tools for the same conversation I've been trying to have with myself since I was young. There is a quiet beauty in the world.  Not beauty as something precious or fragile but beauty as something that exists in ordinary life whether you acknowledge it or not. My job is just to acknowledge it.
II.    The Work

I picked up a camera in 2023 and it changed everything. In 2025 I started shooting film and it changed everything again. Film taught me that attention is a practice. Every frame costs something so every frame has to mean something. When you strip away the ability to shoot endlessly you stop reacting and start seeing. That discipline bled into everything else I make. A lot of my work lives in the space between documentation and feeling. I'm not reporting anything. I'm trying to make you feel the weight of a moment that already passed. The quiet that sits inside of loud places. What gets overlooked because nobody thought it was worth photographing.
III.    The Gallery

A Black Gallery is for me and for the people I capture. Both exist here equally. It operates as a yin and yang. A space where my need to create and someone else's right to be seen exist in the same breath. Neither one works without the other.
Every piece of work here has a physical twin. Nothing is purely digital. Nothing is disposable. Everything was made or captured with intention, with care, with the understanding that the moment deserved more than a screen. A Black Gallery is where that care lives permanently.
